An intense and rich Merlot with dark black fruit, spice and coffee notes. Integrated oak tannins to give a long balanced finish. The grapes of this wine are predominately from Paso Robles, where its high pH soil offers something not found anywhere else in California. Recommended with roasted pork and braised beef with spicy sauces.
